SHARI SANTORELLI - PIANIST
Shari Santorelli is currently Principal Pianist of the West Texas Symphony Orchestra. She has performed extensively in concerto performances, chamber music concerts, solo recitals, orchestral and chorale concerts, and has appeared and toured with numerous artists, chamber ensembles, and choirs throughout Mexico, the United States, and Europe.
From 1976–1984, Ms. Santorelli worked principally in Mexico, performing with orchestras and chamber ensembles including the Symphony Orchestra of the Northwest, Guadalajara Symphony, Trio de Mexico, and Trio de Guadalajara, of which she was a founding member. She also participated in numerous contemporary music festivals and served as Pianist for the Department of Fine Arts for the State of Jalisco.
Ms. Santorelli has performed extensively throughout Texas and has served as a staff accompanist at several universities, including Texas Tech University and Angelo State University. She has served as a member of the West Texas Symphony orchestra for over 33 years, Adjunct Music Instructor at Midland College, and Piano Lab Instructor at Trinity School in Midland.
She is currently adjunct staff accompanist with the University of Texas Permian Basin and maintains a private piano studio in Midland.
